Luna leaves Villa

Aston Villa have allowed left-back Antonio Luna to join Spanish side Eibar on a two-year deal.
Villa signed the former Spain Under-20 international, now 24, in 2013 but he made only 18 appearances and had loan spells out at Verona and Spezia.

Fresh from a game-changing World Cup in Canada, England's women's team have risen to their highest-ever position in the Fifa rankings.
Mark Sampson's team now stand fifth, up one place, thanks to their third-place finish in the tournament. There is a swap at the top, with champions USA now leading the world followed by Germany, but hosts Canada drop out of the top 10 after just two wins in five games against lesser-ranked teams.
Meanwhile, Scotland are up one place to 20th, Wales are down two and sit 37th, and Northern Ireland remain 66th.

Bolt on for London

Athletics fans, rejoice. Usain Bolt has been confirmed for this month's Anniversary Games in London, which also serves as the Diamond League event.
And on that note, American Justin Gatlin - who has served two doping bans - ran the joint second-fastest 100m time of 2015 at the Lausanne meeting on Thursday, beating Asafa Powell and Tyson Gay. You can read the report here.

Henderson named Reds captain

Former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard spoke to BBC Sportyesterday about Jordan Henderson being his likely replacement.
"Jordan's been loyal to the club by signing a new deal and I wish him well," Gerrard, 35, told BBC Sport.
"I don't think there's a more fitting player to take that armband off me. I see a lot of my game in Jordan's game and what I like about him is he's very humble."

Liverpool have named 25-year-old midfielder Jordan Hendersonas their new captain.
It has slipped under the radar over the last few months, but long-standing captain Steven Gerrard has left for LA Galaxy, apparently.
Let's see how many buzz-words Henderson got into his quotes.
"I'm absolutely delighted and proud. It is a great honour and a hugeprivilege to be named as the captain of this football club.
"I'll look to give my best all of the time, put the team firmly first and try to give them - or help them with - whatever they need from me."

McEachran complete Brentford move

Josh McEachran has completed his £750,000 move from Chelsea to Brentford. The England Under-21 midfielder, now 22, has signed a four-year deal with the Championship club.
