MANCHESTER UNITED WILL WEAR NIKE KITS ON PRE-SEASON DESPITE OF ADDIDAS DEAL

Manchester United will wear Nike kits for their pre-season tour of the United States, despite signing a world record £750m kit deal with Adidas last year, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Adidas will become United's kit suppliers from the start of the 2015-16 season, however United will not don the three stripes in any of their three International Champions Cup friendlies in the States.
Nike's contract with United runs until the last day of July and The Reds are scheduled to embark on a two-week tour of the US' west coast, when they will still be contracted to the American sportswear giant.
United are expected to unveil their first Adidas strip in 23 years for an August Old Trafford friendly.

Despite sealing a lucrative 10-year partnership with United, the news is a significant blow to Adidas, Nike's biggest rival, given the exposure United's three new Nike kits received during a five-game tour of America last year.
